Awkward pose?! I think it's awesome and original, I love it and it gives the drawing and him a cool feeling of movement, my fav thing is how the right wing is flexing upwards and how the body is making a nice curve. Anyways, he looks beautifuly awesome and your drawing style fits him perfectly.
