Kartus

FINALLY DONE! YAY!
First thing I want to say is that my computer ate the colors and the markings on the inside bottom edges of the wings are actually bright purple.
This is my dragon Kartus. He is 250 year old male and is about 15 feet tall at the shoulder. He can speak english. He is an amazing flier, runner, and swimmer, using his webbed feet and fins to speed through the water. His abilities include fire breathing, and occasionally shape-shifting, but he prefers to stay a dragon. Kartus doesn't particularily care for people, but will help them if he feels it is necessary. He cannot stand injustice and will fight evil whenever he sees it. He is extremely loyal to family and friends.
Yes that tiny little person on his back is me! I am his rider.
I think this is the most detailed drawing I've ever done. It took a really long time. I got to use my new Prisma color pencil crayons! Yay! I had to use the cover of A Practical Guide To Dragon Riding as reference because I had no idea how to draw a dragon in that position. I'm still learning! 

EDIT: WHY DOES EVERONE THINK HE LOOKS UNHAPPY? HE'S SUPPOSED TO LOOK LIKE HE'S SMILING. Sort of.
